Since my grandmother past away I have taken the taken the task of researching our family tree, and although my grandmother did really well writing a lot of stuff down over the years it is taking a lot of hard work to sort it all out. The names in my tree so far consist of ANDERSON, BRYSON, CLARKE, GEORGE, GUTHERIE OR GUTHRIE, JONES, LYCETTE OR LYCETTE, PAIDLEY OR PATELY AND SLOWEY. My family seems mainly settled in Scotland(Glasgow/Lanarkshire) although I have found spouses moved from England, Wales and Ireland. And the Paidley's* moved to Canada.
