I am trying to locate any information on Raymond Strayer or his wife Blanche Bowers. They resided in York County, Pennsylvania in the early 1900's. I do know that Raymond was in the army and died abt. 1944. And that shortly after his death the children were taken from the home and placed into foster care. Their children were: Ruth(my grandmother), Virgina, Doris, Edith,Raymond Jr., James, Arlene, Ken, Donna, Joy, and Robert. I do know that Blanche had a sister named Ida and lived in Yoe, York at one point. If anyone has any information on this line of Strayer's I would very much appreciate any help. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
