I am trying to trace the ancestry of my great-grandmother, Leokadya (also Leocadia) Przybylska (also Przybylski). She emigrated from Poland to America, on the ship Koln, from Bremen, arriving March 3, 1902. She was listed as 19 at the time, and went to Depew, NY, to join her sister Mary Pzybylska Ogrodnik, already living in Depew. Leokadya married Ignatz Helak, probably in 1903. Her place of origin on the manifest was listed as "Bolesegre, Wz," which I've been unable to trace as any town in Poland. If anyone has any information about her family, or any idea what region "Bolesegre" might refer to, I'd appreciate it. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
