I am seeking information on my great-great-grandfather, Joel Phillips. He was born either 1828 or 1829 in Randolph county, North Carolina. I have possibly two spouses for Joel. He was married first to Mary Stone (b. 1840 Caswell county, NC) on 11 Sep 1858 in Davidson, NC. He was married second to Louisa A. Ginn (b.1840 SC) on 12 Aug 1860 in Madison, Georgia. The second marriage record is located at Madison County Courthouse, Danielsville, GA. At present time, the only known child is Jesse Levi Phillips b 1848 or 1849 in Randolph county, NC. I do not know when Joel died or where he is buried. His sedond wife, Louisa, is buried in Burlington, Alamance county, NC. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
