Adopted daughter searching for info on Birthmother. From Non-ID info: BMom was born in the summer of 1925 in a Mid-western state. She was of Irish and Cherokee Indian decent. He mother died when she was 5 and her dad died when she was 11. She was raised by her maternal grandmother. She had dark wavy hair, hazel eyes with very long eyelashes and a very good posture. She only had a 7th grade education. Bmom did not like sports very much but did like to read and sew. When I was born, she was working in Miami, Florida as a bar maid (11/45) and had been dating a Merchant Marine, Noland Ebanks (I already have all the info on him). They were never married. I was given his surname on a application for my original birth certificate. My birthname is shown as Gloria Jean Ebanks. (It was supposed to be Glory but vitals showed it as Gloria). Info from my adoptive Mother: Told me my Bio Mothers name was EDNA. Also told me that she thought was was raised on a farm by maternal grandmother somewhere in Ohio. I was told that my birthmother had the surname of someone in her family of Eavens, Evans, Evins or any other spelling that sounds like Evans. I am trying to find info on my birthmother and Florida records are SEALED for 100 years. I am nearing 65 yrs old now and STILL do not know who my birthmother is/was. Looking for any relatives, old friends, etc who can tell me about her. I would love to see a picture of her and know my roots. Anyone know of this person? | |||||||||||||||||||||
