 I am looking for info on Temperance A. Gallevant b. abt 1820 in SC. There are several spellings for this name: Galvant, Galivant,Gallivant,Gallevant, Gallivan,and Galiven. She m. David Campbell, Jr. in Lowndes Co. AL in 1830. She is possibly the daughter of Richard Galivant b. 1791 SC or Joseph Gallivan b. 1800-1810 in SC. She had many children: William, James, Richard, Wiley, David, Martha, Joanna, William H., Andrew, Emily, Jane, Fletcher and Anna.
