Looking for info on Ransom Wood (b c 1832, d aft Jun 1900), mar to Sarah Avery (of the Groton, CT Averys- I have lots on her family). They lived in French Creek, Chautauqua, NY as of the 1860 census, I can't find them in 1870, and by 1880 they were living in Columbus, Warren, PA just across the border. Known children of Ransom & Sarah were George W Wood (Jul 1854-aft Apr 1930), Elias Lyman Wood (3 Feb 1856- 31 Jan 1928), Esther Wood (b c 1857) and Charles H Wood (b c 1873). All I know on Ransom Wood is that he was born somewhere in NY, and that both parents were from VT. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
