I am searching for connections to our Battles family in Etowah County. Our father was Richard Farrell Battles marr. to Catherine Lucille Rose Cardon. His father was Robert Battles marr. to Bessie Ashworth. His father was Richard Battles marr. to Rosa L. Hewitt. His father was supposed to be Franklin Battles marr. to Sarah or Sally. Our mother's father was Joseph Norman Cardon marr. to Willie Aquilla Smith. His father was Hugh Walker Cardon, of Centre, marr. to Lula McSpadden. Our main focus is to find the places where these people are buried and any connections further back for our Franklin Battles.
