Since writing the below item I may have found the family/parents of my great grampa Richard Arthur Vivian in the 1841 Cornwall Online Census Project - Hundred of Pydar, Parish of St Eval Downhill,1, Joseph Vivian, 40, Ag Lab, Cornwall (father of my Richard Arthur?) Mary (Leverton) Vivian, 37, Cornwall Henery Vivian, 12, Cornwall Stephen Vivian, 10, Cornwall Sarah Vivian, 8, Cornwall Richard Vivian, 6, Cornwall (my Richard Arthur?, born August 1834, could be) Fanny Vivian, 2, Cornwall This family shows up later in an 1851 census of Ontario (Hastings) Canada but without Richard and Stephen’s names which is perplexing and with some other children’s names. Original Message: I am trying to locate the relatives (parents, uncles, siblings, etc.and his town of origin in Cornwall) of Richard Arthur Vivian born August 1, 1834 in Cornwall England, a Wesleyan Methodist. He moved to Ontario Canada before 1858, attended Belleville Seminary in Ontario in 1858, married Letitia Brennan in 1868-9 in Brandt, Ontario, was a school teacher in Renton Ontario and then a minister (including Methodist-Episcopal and then Congregationalist at Frome Ontario 1876-82)) at several locations in the U.S. and Ontario before his death in Ada Michigan August 8, 1893. He had six children: Victor Hermon, Richard Arthur, Florence May, William Stephen, Charles Nicholas, and Charles Frederick. Chas F married a Bessie R.
