Thomas Welsh was born in County Mayo, Ireland abt. 1828 he was my 2xGreat-Grandfather. He immigrated to the U.S. about 1856, it is said with a brother named Bryan. He served in the Civil War from 1864-end of war in 1865 I have found Thomas on several documents and the above spelling have been used sometimes more than one spelling on the same document. Thomas marries Julia E. Sheehan (Julia was previously married to a Mr. Barry) and died in Oil City, Venango Co., Pennsylvania in 1892. Does anybody have this person or family in their database who could supply information about the family of Mr. Thomas Welsh of Mayo Co. Ireland? | |||||||||||||||||||||
