(Do not have dates as all the records were burned.) John Ryan was from the North of Ireland, of the Church of England, as his English prayer book is in the family. He enlisted in the American revolutionary Army in 1776, at 28 years of age, served as private in Captains Martin and Michael Simpson's Companies in Colonel Hands Pennsylvania Regiment. I am looking for his parents names and information on his ancestors. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
