My name is Carter Poole and I am searching for my birth mother and father as well as any potential siblings. I was in the Children's Home Society of Virginia at the time of my adoption. The name of the Attorney's office that helped with the adoption is Hunton, Williams, Gay and Gibson 700 East Main in Richmond, Virginia. I was adopted by Capt. and Mrs. Elbert R. Poole, from Fort Eustis, Virginia. My birthday is May 29, 1971. The name on the letter from the attorney's office is Guy T. Tripp III and the name of the Clerk on the paperwork from the court is Edward G. Kidd. I have a file number that is on the letter from the atty concerning the adoption and what might be the number that was assigned to me in the children's home...if any of this sounds familiar to anyone..I would be interested in knowing. I do not know what my birth name was that was given to me by my birth mother/father...the only birth cert I have has the name my parents gave me when they adopted me.
