I am trying to find information about my grandparents who came to the USA from Bruckenau, Hungary (now in Romania) in 1906. My grandfathers name was Peter Vogel and he was born in about 1880. My grandmother was Katharina Metz, born in November of 1890. Through the ships manifest on ellisisland.org I believe that my grandmothers father was Janos Metz. Does anyone have further information or a contact still in the area? The current name for Bruckenau is Pischia. Thank you for any help. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
