I am looking for New York Harvey's. Allegany County; Alfred, & Andover. Steuben County, Greenwood. Other areas are possible but only these to confirm. John Harvey born circa 1800 & marring Sophia Woodruff born circa 1803-1804. Living in Andover, Allegany County, New York. Her father: Joseph Woodruff from Granville, Washington County, New York & prior to that Farmington CT. His parents: unknown. Documents state he was born in New York (rumor-he was Indian?) There Children= 6; 3 son’s & 3 daughter’s. Andrew Hervey (he choose to change his name, granddaughter stated in a letter he went by the English way of spelling it?) m. Eleanor McIntyre (they moved to PA) Elizabeth Harvey m. John Brundage Hiram James Harvey m. 1st Wife: Mary Cartwright & 2nd Wife: Cynthia Bump Mary Harvey m. Henry Clair (strong possibly but no documentation as of yet) Mary Cartwright parents: Jabez Cartwright Jr. & 1st Wife.
