I am researching the PAYTON Family from Canada and Michigan. The PAYTON Family names I am researching are James PAYTON b. ca 1851 Canada and his wife Marie (Mary) Louise BISSON b. 1869 New York. They married 1885 and had eight children, James b.1886, Albert b.1888, Charles b.1890, Henry b.1893, Mary Blanche b.1896, Ellda P. b.1900, George E. b.1908, Kenneth L. b.1911. James died 1910 in Canada and Marie came to Detroit Michigan about 1911-1984 with her four youngest children. I am researching the eldest four children. I know James, the eldest son died 1918 in France and I know where he is buried and who he married and I have also had contact with his daughter-in-law and grandson. I also have pictures of the cemetery and the cemetery marker.I am still looking to verify info about the other three older brothers. I have proof regarding James, Sr. birth, parents, siblings and grandparents. I also have proof of the four younger children who were all born in Canada and all died in Detroit area between 1934 and 1984 and who they married and their children. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
