Hello, My name is Melissa Scarberry Tackett. My mother's name was Sallie Anselmi Layne Scarberry. She was the daughter of Oakie Lawerence Anselmi who was the son of Rudolph Joseph Anselmi. Rudolph immigrated with his father Peter Paul Anselmi and mother Mary Margeret Larcher Anselmi from Tyrol Austria. I have traced my mother's family back to Peter Paul in Austria. When he immigrated to this country he finally ended up in the coalfields of West virginia when he passed away in 1929 and was buried by his wife Mary Margeret in Pocohontas Va. According to his death certificate which I have been able to locate, he father's name was Jack. His mother's name and maiden name is unknown. Does anyone out there have any information for me. It would be greatly appreciated. All of our family history records on the Anselmis was lost in the 1977 flood. Thank u in advance | |||||||||||||||||||||
