William Y. "Buck" Stewart was born in Mexico, Audrain Co. MO, Dec 16, 1831. He apparently was a slave owner??? Supposedly, both of his parents were from KY. He married Martha Jane "Amy" Landrum. The Stewart family fled Europe to escape Cromwell changing the spelling from Stuart to Stewart. Can anyone share leads to siblings and/or parents for Wm. Y. Stewart?
