Searching for any information regarding my birth parents. I'm a male who was adopted from St. Vincent's Infant Home, New Orleans, in 1949. My birth date is March 22, 1949. I was born at Sara Mayo Hospital. My birth mother named me "Stephen"at birth. I weighed 6 lbs, 13.5 oz. I was placed with my adoptive parents on July 28, 1949. My mother was a 16 year old high school student from Alabama. She was 5'3" tall, fair complexion, about 115 lbs, and of Irish and German descent. My birth mother had 4 older sisters. Her mother completed high school and was a homemaker. Her father completed some college and was a business manager. My birth father was 19; he was 5'11" tall, and weighed about 165 lbs. He had black hair, green eyes, and an olive complexion. He was of German and Polish descent. He was a first year college student with plans to go to dental school. | |||||||||||||||||||||
