Asa R. Cassidy Born abt: 1806 or 1807 lived in Muskingum County Ohio. I want to Proof that Asa IS Joseph or Joseph Cassidy Born 1827 Died Between 1885 to 1890. Asa was a a sheriff,post master and a mayor in his life time. IN hAMILTON OR mUSKINGUM COUNTIES. Married ?????????????? CHILDREN Joseph Married Twice. Amanda Maria Reed 1843 in Muskingum County,Ohio. They had Edward 1843 to 1844 Virginia 1845 Henry or Henry R. Cassidy 1849 Eliza 1852 George possible s. 1854 Manda 1859 all born in Ohio. they had other children 6 that died before 1910 and all born before 1880 to 1883. Joseph married again after he divorced Amanda probly around 1880. By 1884 or 1885 Joseph remarried again to a Anna Amelia Cottle younger lady. They had Albert Cassidy born November 1866 My Grandfather. Albert went to school in Cincinnati and raised there. He later moved to Kentucky Lexington and married a Ida Hughes 1876 daughter of a Mary ? hUGHES.mARY WAS A WIDOW BY 1900. HAD 2 BROTHERS wILLIAM b. 1877 AND lAURE OR RUDE1879 wILLIAM WAS A PAINTER AND rUDE WAS SINGLE IN 1880. sOME TIME DOWN THE LINE Ida Hughes Cassidy died either in Ky or in Tn. Albert remarried again but no children by 2nd wife Agnes McCravey of GA. The first wife my grandmother they had 3 children I know of.
