Have posted on geneology.com Looking for a large family of McGraths who came to US during the famine.Came through Castle Rock in NY. Am told they served in the Civil War -several brothers and their father. Can't confirm with war records. My great grandmother was Ellen McGrath. Told she had up to 16 older brothers. Only have the name of one-James Joseph-next oldest. Think the fathers name was William. Some of the family settled in Pa. That is where Ellen married John Park in Reading Pa. They eventually settled in Harrisburg. Looking for names of other brothers and sisters and the parents info-where in Ireland they came from | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
