I am looking for information regarding my Great Grandparents, William Polsfuss (born 1840) and Maria Sophia Sack Polsfuss,(born 1841)along with their sons Albert(born1864) and Reinhard(born 1868)and Caroline Welk Sack who came from Germany in 1868. I know Maria's mother's name was Caroline Welk Sack. They left from Bremen, Germany on a ship called the Georgina and landed in Quebec. There son Albert said he was born in Muenchen, Brandenberg, Germany. On emigration records it indicates place of origin as Meinken/Arnsealde. | |||||||||||||||||||||
