I was born on 5.2.1956 in Frankfurt Germany to Katharina (Kathe) Leiser, a seamstress (b.d. March 6, 1926). Katharina lived in or around Frankfurt Germany. She died in Sept 2011. She had seven children who were all(except the last) put up for adoption. There was a boy born in 1950 who was adopted by his Grandparents and still lives near Frankfurt. He has a sister born in 1953 who was adopted and ended up in the USA. These two have the same father, Erich Herth who lived in Frankfurt at that time. Then Katharina had four more children born of Kurt Ledkuecher who were also placed for adoption and also ended up in the USA. There was a girl born in 1956, a girl in 1957, a girl born in 1959 and a boy born in 1960.The last child (7th) was born of Stephan Mayer and Katharina's marriage (1964), a boy who died in 1968.All of the girls and the boy 1960 have found each other and met at a reunion in July 2011. We are,however, still curious about our fathers, any health histories, or anything that anyone knows about the circumstances of Katharina now and then.Even pictures would be greatly appreciated! Please help us fill in the gaps.
