 Desperately trying to find out any information about my great great grandfather FRANCIS DAVIDSON FORREST born approx 1823 in Northumberland - Enland (nothing known about his birth other than this) by the time the 1881 census was taken he was living in Whitby - England with 3 of his daughters Rebecca, Kate & Emily (my Great grandmother who married HARRY ROBINSON in 1886 in Whitby), his wife Ann has died as he is listed as a widower and his occupation is a Master Mariner. I also believe he had at least 2 more daughters Mary Ellen and Elizabeth ( both married by time of the census) and at least one son William Hill Forrest and a grandson Francis Davidson Forrest Goodwill (son of Elizabeth) any help welcome
