Jenkins,John,James,Thomas & Wirt/Wood Co.WVA. Have civil war pension files on John W. and James W., John's shows birth in Hampshire Co., VA. All lived near Parkersburg, VA with mother, Lucinda Jenkins in 1850 & 1860 Fed. census. John W. was b. abt 1843, James W. b.abt 1845. John died in 1881 in Ohio. Was divorced from Mrs.Deborah Jaynes/James. Two minor daughters at time of death: Ida & Carrie L. Jenkins. James W. died, a widower,in Wood Co.,WVA. in Sept.1894. Would like to find trail on their father who is shown in obituaries as John W.( or Stewart )Jenkins. He would have died about 1863 per obituary info. Family lived in and around Ft. Recovery, OH after leaving WVA about 1879. Have good info on Wirt and Thomas. Another brother was Benjamin and have nothing on him. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
