I'm searching for my niece, born in Auckland NZ on October 9th 1967. Her mother (my sister) Barbara Nobilo gave birth when she was 17 yrs old. From what I can remember, Barbara stay in a "Home" for single mothers until she was due to give birth. I do not know if the birth took place in the home or at a hospital around Auckland. After the birth the baby was taken away for adoption and Barbara came back to Whangarei where she lived all her life until she passed away 12 months ago. She named her daughter Catherine but the name could have been changed by the adoptive parents.
