I am looking for any information on a John P. Nachand that lived in Madison County, Illinois. John lived there from abt 1832 to aprox 1900. In 1871 he was Justice of the Peace. Edward Henry Nachand, his son worked for the Calhoun Newspaper for a bit and was a printer. While employed, Edward wrote and published a story of his life. There was another son by the name of Oliver Thomas Nachand. Their mother, Malissa Bradley married Horatio Maguire before she married John Phillip Nachand. Malissa raied Warren Maguire for about 9 years. John was also married to Lucy Jane Windland for a spell before his marriage to Malissa. They shared a daughter named Rose or Rosa who worked in or ran a millenary shop in Madison County. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
