At one point possibly was in Shelby Co., KY with wife Mary and oldest son. Married: MARY or MARI GRASS b. 29SEP1846______, IN d.12MAR1925 Louisville,Jefferson Co., KY,USA Buried: St. Louis Cemetery, Louisville, Jeff.,KY Parents&Siblings: ? ? NOTE: Had a half sister named ROSE who married Philip DURCHOLZ from Ferdinand, IN. They had a daughter named Henrietta who married Leo KLUEH from Ferdinand, IN. ?Related to George John Wiggins' wife Elizabeth KLUEH?? A German Bible written by Mari (apparently) had just initials and dates for the children but, was very difficult to read. The below has been compiled from information from descendants of George John Wiggins and Dora M. W. Stanton. Children in order of birth(8)(Events may have occurred in LOUISVILLE, KY-- UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED.) (descendants-if any known- are listed under each child's name): 1. THEODORE b.31MAR1865_d.______1920?m._________JENNY__________________ children (2 ?): Theodore Matthew NOTE: Both boys either moved to Washington and/or California; or, died as single men in their early 20s while working on the canals in Louisville, Jeff., KY. 2. BENJAMIN JOSEPH b.5SEP1867____m.___________________________ NOTE: He went to Seattle, Washington to "seek gold." Later, there was a relative MARTHA WIGGINS who lived in Seattle, WA. Story is he went to CA and married a woman who was Protestant. His son Theodore "Ted" is supposed to have stayed in CA and married a woman with 3 or 4 children and became Catholic. One of his sons, name may have been Theodore, was stationed for a time at Lockborne Airforce Base near Columbus, OH during WWII. This soldier apparently visited in Columbus, Franklin County, OH the family of Thomas M. Stanton (Dora Wiggins Stanton's son,his 2nd cousin.)
