I am trying to find the family of my great-grandfather. He first appears in the 1900 census for Marshall County. He was married to Louisa Cope and had two children with her: George Wilkerson who died in Evansville, Indiana and Thomas Edgar, my grandfather. Louise's obituary also lists a son named J.L. He was born in Tennesse around 1839 and was married once before. My mother believed he had a son by his first wife named Will who may have lived in Paducah Kentucky and possibly a daughter named Mary. I am curious if he is the same Thomas Simmons who lived in Ballard County and was married to Joanna Creason who had ties to Marshall County. | |||||||||||||||||||||
