I'm looking for any info on NELSON AND ELIZABETH (ALEXANDER) WEST (my dad said they changed their name from KARO (like the syrup) to WEST and I'm sure of this either), maybe born around 1860's (my grandparents, I don't know if they had any siblings), they had 1 son ELIOTT (don't know if he had any other siblings) born in 1900 in Lawrenceville, VA and he came to DC maybe around 1920's/30's. I have searched EVERYWHERE and cannot find NOTHING ON EITHER OF THEM. My grandparents could have been from NC but could have settled in VA, and I'm not sure. My father had me late in his life and he NEVER TALKED ABOUT THEM and it's sad to say, "I didn't ask about them either", I wish I had now. | |||||||||||||||||||||
