I am a female adoptee searching for my birth mother / father & family. I was born March 9, 1971 in Jacksonville, Florida. My mother was 18 years old at the time, and a high school senior. Her ethnic background is Greek / Hungarian / Dutch. She had 2 sisters (21 , 11 at the time of birth), and 1 brother (at the time, 16). Her mother was an opera singer earlier in life, and her father was a meat cutter. My birth father was 22 years of age at the time of my birth. His ethnic background is Dutch / Irish. He had completed high school, and 2 years of college prior to entering the service where he served in the medical corps. He was planning to become a medical doctor. He had 1 sister age 18 at the time of my birth. His father was in his 50's, but his mother had passed away due to a heart attack. I was placed for adoption by the Children's Home Society of Florida in Jacksonville, Florida. I do not have a first or last name of either birth parents.
