I have lots of ancestors buried in Van Buren Co. Am searching for family of Samuel Obediah (Obi) MOWERY b. 11/11/1884-89 d. 12/19/1913 as a young man m. to Amanda Jane (Janey) TUCKER/MOWERY/MERRYMAN/OSBORN. They had 5 children, John Edward (my gf) m. Roy Fay BURNS, Myrtle Edna, Ova/Ovie and 2 that died young. Samuel was b. in TX and his parents ? MOWERY b.? and Lottie ? b. abt 1860-62 were both b. in TX/AR. His mother Lottie married 2nd time to a John W. MALONE. She d. in Little Rock btwn 1930-40. Samuel's father was supposedly full blood native american and mother Lottie, part. Samuel had brother's Marion & Ned and sister's Jennie/Ginnie m. to Ed WILSON & ? m. to Willie MORROW. I am wanting Samuel Obediah (Obi) MOWERY's father's 1st name or his mother Lottie's maiden name. Maybe she had brothers? Please email if you have info, thanks Sandy SPARROW (maiden name MOWERY)
