Trying to determine the town/parish for Hugh Harkins born about 1740/1750 and immigrated to Charleston,S.C. in 1767 on one of seven Protestant ships. may have come from Ballyoskey near Carndonagh but no proof. married a Sarah Elizabeth (unknown) either before/after arrival in S.C. May have brought a brother,William. Any suggestions on making this determination greatly appreciated. May have come from Scotland and possible was a Presbyterian. |
