I am researching the BLAIR side of my family. I am having trouble with William Morton Blair, born in Scotland and migrated to Australia in 1866, aged 3 years. He came with his parents, Alexander and Isabella MORTON and his three brothers, John, George and Frederick and sister Margaret. They settled in the Rockhampton District and around Roma Queensland. Alexander was married to Isabella MORTON and his death certificate states that his mothers name was also Isabella MORTON, this could be a mistake re his mothers name. The family came from Haddington in Scotland. Alexanders father is noted as George Blair on his death certificate. Is anybody researching this family. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
