Hi, I'm looking for info on my family from Pointe Coupee Parish, La. My GGGG Grandfather Michel Francois Marie Robic (1793-1859?) came to La. in 1820 and married Marie Ange' Perrault (or Perot). They had two children: Julie Robic (1825-1845), and Gustave Robic (1826-1865). They resided near Waterloo on the Isle of False River. Gustave (my GG Grandfather) married Celanie David (1827-?)and they had seven childen: Marie Julie Robic (1848-?), Marie Lutetia (1850-1872), Francois Theobald (1854-1930), Marie Eusebie (1855-?), Blanchard Francois (1858-1938), Marie Leonie (1862-1881), Morise E. (186?-?). Francois Theobald Roubic(my GG Grandfather-changed the spelling of the name now) married Julie Constance Guerin (1855-?), and they had six children: Gustave (1877-?), Francis Bertrand (1879-1949), Eddie (1884-?), Oleptie Miss (1886-1951), Clement James (1889-1958), Francois Philibert (1891-1963). Francois Theobald Roubique (changed the spelling of name again) then married Carmelite Bouanchaud and had eight more kids: Amelie (1895-1998), Theobald Joseph Jr. (1897-1997), Wilmer (1898-1985), Alice (1904-?), Althea (1907-198?), Marie (19??-?), Agnes (19??-?), and Ezola (1914-1981). Francois Philibert Roubique (my G Grandfather) married Malvina Marie Chauvin (1888-19??)and had seven children: Eunice Agnes, Allen Eric, Elbert Bert, Lawrence Wallace Joseph, Francois Philibert II, Audrey Lee, and Malcome Ervin. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I have all these names and dates with no proof....especially for the women who married these Robic/Roubic/Roubique men, they seem to disappear. ( They are: Marie Ange' Perrault, Celanie David, Julie Constance Guerin and her mother Rosela LeJeune, Carmelite Bouanchard and her mother Alphonsine LeJeune, Malvina Marie Chauvin.)Thank you in advance for any help you may be able to give me.
