My mother and I suspect we may have some Native American decent. We are searching for records of any white settlers adopting Native American children, particularly around the late 19th, early 20th century, in North Dakota. We want to know if my grandfather -- my mother's father -- was from a native american tribe, if he was adopted by other settlers.
