I am descended from Peter Eschbacher (born 1694) and Elizabeth Bechtel (born about 1718), daughter of David Bechtel. Peter and Elizabeth arrived in 1737 and settled at Bally Berks County Pa. Peter Eschbacher had a brother, Hans (Johannes). In 1738 a Johann Heinrich Eschbach arrived. Also on the same ship, the Winter Gally was listed a Johannes Bechtel, age 22. Would anyone have information on the Johannes Bechtel, age 22 in 1738 (or born about 1716) who arrived on the Winter Gally? Peter Eschbacher (ESCHBACH) died about 1742 and Elizabeth Bechtel Eschbacher marrried John Landis (born 1720) about 1743 and lived in upper Montgomery County Pa.
