I am 39 year old from Louisville, KY and searching for my birth mother. I was born at the Salvation Army Home and Hospital in Louisville, KY on April 3, 1972 at 1:15pm. I weighed 8 lbs and 3 oz at birth. I was 20 inches long. My birth mother's labor was 7 hours and 15 minutes. My birth mother, at the time of delivery, was 18. She is of German and Irish heritage and protestant. She is 5'4 and weighed 110 pounds. She had long, thick red hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion. Reports show that she was also very shy. My birth mother, at the time of birth, had a high school education and was working with her father at Orkin. She had hopes of attending college and persuing a career in business education. At the time of birth, my birth mother had a brother, age, 21 in school. She also had a sister, age 14, in school. My social workers name was Joan Cahill. I was released from the Salvation Army Home and Hospital on April 10, 1972 into the arms of the Department of Child Welfare. I resided in foster care until my final placement on May 24, 1972. My maternal grandmother was 48 at the time of my birth. She is 5'2 and weighed 110 pounds. She has black hair and an olive complexion. She has a high school education and is a housewife. My maternal grandfather was 48 at the time of my birth. He is 5'11 and weighed 175 pounds. He has black hair and an olive complexion. He has a high school education, one year of college and was working at Orkin at the time of my birth.
