I'm doing my geneology and my Great Grandfather's name was Jacob (Jake) Nelson. He married a Cherokee woman named Sarah Seabolt. I have found very little about him except that he was sentenced to serve time by Judge Issac Parker in Ft. Smith, Arkansas for selling a pint of whiskey in Indian Territory.
