Looking for any information on the families of William MURPHY b. 1830 in either Ireland or Scotland and Mary GRIMES b. 1830 in St-Bernard de Lacolle, Quebec, Canada. William's parents were William MURPHY and Mary Feeney. Mary's parents were Michael GRIMES and Elisabeth DOUGLAS. William MURPHY and Mary GRIMES were married about 1851 in Lacolle. One of their children, Joseph MURPHY was my g-grandfather. He married Mary Wilhelmina REUTHER in Calumet, Houghton, Michigan in 1893.
