My name is Vanessa Sumner-Knapp and I am 21yrs old. I am searching for my birth mother, whose name is Sabrina. I do not know her last name. My name at birth was Vanessa Madrigal. I was put in Foster care with my four siblings in 1997. My brother Leo was a year younger than I. My sister Marissa was a year younger than Leo. Marissa was adopted by her grandparents. My two baby sisters were adopted by another family and Leo and I were separated and both adopted. My adopted mom has tried to help me locate my siblings and birth parents. We found an obituary that I think is for my father--Leo Madrigal--as it mentions both Leo and I, but we could not find any of the relatives mentioned in the obituary. I would really love to find my birth mother, or any of my siblings. Marissa and Leo would both be over 18 by now. When he was adopted, Leo changed his name to Anakin, but I do not know his new last name, or whether he changed his name back when he got older. He was living in Davis county when he was adopted. My birth mother was living in Ogden Utah, when we were all adopted. My birth father was in prison at that time.
