Searching for Fox and Eldon family relatives from Timulkeel in Drumcree and Tartaraghan, Armagh and Dromore Parish, Down. My great great grandfather was james fox (b 1822), son of john fox(b 1792) and margaret sloan. John and margaret were married in 1820 and had 5 other chidren - Elizabeth, John who married a hessy or esther watson in 1858, a frances (fanny) who married a john rafferty, mary and jane. James married rachel eldon, daughter of joseph eldon in 1853 and left ireland in 1854 for south australia.The Fox were mostly blacksmiths or weavers, and the eldons were farmers. | |||||||||||||||||||||
