I was abducted and raped at age 12. I gave birth to a son on May 2 or 5, 1958 in Olathe, KS. All I know is that the doctor's name was James Mercer. My baby was taken from me as soon as he was born. I was not allowed to see him. Two days later I was taken to an office in the hospital. My mother was there and I was told to sign some papers. I didn't know what they were. I was taken home and no one ever mentioned anything about it again. I am now 66 years old and I have never forgotten that baby. I have always wondered what happened to him. I ask my mother one time and she said she thought he was adopted by a doctor. That's all I know. | |||||||||||||||||||||
