I am a girl that was born on August 24, 1967 in Ottumwa, Iowa and placed for adoption through the American Home Finding Agency. I think my birth mom lived in the home finding agency until I was born. I heard that my birth mom had just graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Special Education and I think she took a job somewhere on the west coast around Sept. 1967. I think my birth father had another year to go at Iowa State University when I was born. I have children and would like to meet both birth parents but would be fine just knowing health history, too. I don't believe my birth mom was from Iowa. I heard she had been about 4'10" with dark hair and dark eyes. Don't know where my birth dad is from but I think he was around 5'6" or so with dark hair and possibly hazel eyes. | |||||||||||||||||||||
