I am very anxious to find this very good friend from my youth, Virginie (Nini) Eleonore Weeber. We met in Batavia in 1936. Nini wanted to learn Urdu and start an idealistic newspaper in India/Pakistan. Recent pictures and reportage by Christiane Amanpour brought Nini back into the forefront of my thoughts- I saw a likeness between them !
