Looking for anyone who might have family connections to Daniel Riley and Jane McKinley Riley. I recently found out that they are my great-great-great-grandparents. Here's the information I have so far: Daniel Riley/Reilly (b. circa. 1824) married Jane McKinley (b. circa. 1825) probably in 1849. Though their daughter Ellen's death certificate states they were born in New York, most census documents state they were born in Ireland. In August of 1850, they were living in New York, 18th Ward along with their one-month old daughter, Ellen. Sometime between 1850 and 1853, the family moved to Foster Township, Schuylkill County, PA where, I believe, their second daughter, Mary Jane was born. It seems that Daniel passed away sometime between 1860 and 1870. By 1880, Jane, Ellen, and Mary Jane are living in Williamstown, Dauphine County, PA with Mary Jane now married to Thomas Ryan. In 1880, Ellen marries James Walsh/Welsh and moves back to Schuylkill County. After James' death, she moves to Philadelphia, where she passed away in 1931. Unfortunately, I have no information on Jane McKinley Riley after 1880. I am in contact with a great-great-granddaughter of Mary Jane's, and we are jointly researching the family.
