CALVERT : TALBOTT | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Query Text: |
I am trying to find supporting data for Sir Robert Talbott. He was reported to be a 2nd Baron of Carlton Co. Kildare. md to Grace Calvert. What does Carlton mean in this context? Was he from County Kildare Ireland? And, what other information can be furnished regarding this person. I have him as being the father of Richard Talbott who settled at Poplar Knoles, Ann Arundel Co., Myld in 1649. Also, where did Richard Talbott come from. The report indicates he gave up lands in the British Isles, because of Cromwell's invasion, and came to America. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
