Searching for birth mother's family. I was told at one time there are 4 half brothers younger than me. Thought her name was "Chmura" Birth in Spokane, Washington 6/19/1945 Privately adopted thru a Dr. Taylor, our families physician at that time. At one time family resided on nothside of Spokane About 25 years ago I had a friend contact my birth mothers residence in Spokane. He confirmed that she was my mother. I requested general information regarding birth circumstances but they declined any contact. I adhered to her (or her then husbands) wishes. Her then family had not been told of the prior birth. He was told there were 4 boys in family named CHMURA. Update: 5/21/2012 Went to library: mother was Thelma V Chmura who lived for many years at 329 E. Euclid in Spokane. Her husband was Tadeusz (Ted) Chumura. I think at least some of half siblings went to North Central High Schiool in Spokane. Looks like at least one half brother is Alan C Chmura. May now or recently have lived in Renton, Wash.. He is probably in his 60's now. Recently received an email from a Cindy Wakefield at locagtorangel@gmail.com; Cindy asked if first name was Thelma. IT WAS, as I know today. Tried to respond to email but it comes back as FAILURE NOTICE 5/22/2012: Have now found sibling and made initial contact. | |||||||||||||||||||||
