Looking for any information about the death circumstances, date, place of death, and burial place for John Miles Harney, who was born 16 August 1878. His mother was Emily Kezia Lee of Spartanburg, Spartanburg County, SC, and his father was Daniel James Horney (or Harney) of Yorkville, York County, SC. Family tradition places the date of death between 1921 and 1927 near Spartanburg, SC. He purportedly was killed during a hunting accident when the gun discharged accidentally.
