I am looking for my birthmother. She was 31 or so when I was born and already had a 6 year old daughter. So somewhere out there I have a half sister. My mother was born in Pennsylvania but at the time of my adoption was living in Washington, D.C. She was not married to my bfather and did not feel she could take care of two children on her own. So a privately arranged adoption was made and she flew out to California and had me in a hospital in Hawthorne on May 1, 1963. My birth name was Patty. I am of German/Irish decent with a Catholic background. My bfather was a union business agent at the time of my birth, also living in Washington, D.C.
