I'm looking for information on my grandfather, Patrick Joseph O'Duffy, (He dropped the "O'" when he came to the US.) He served for a time in the British army in India. I was told he served in the Kyber Pass. I believe it was during the war between Britain and Russia in the 19th century. I was also told that he was born in 1864 in Ballaghadereen which was at that time in County Mayo, I believe. It is now in Roscommon. | |||||||||||||||||||||
